Last Day!
Today is my last day in the valley and I will spend it packing, saying goodbye to the cats, visiting grandparents, drinking wine with my aunty, and eating food that they either don’t make in the south or I can’t afford on my student budget (pies, biscuits, fancy cupcakes, anything in a Heinz tin).
I am so excited to go back that it feels like Christmas Eve.

I’m eating Cadbury’s Christmas biscuits and watching Being Human, this is pretty much all I’ve done all day but with varying snacks and programs.

Planning Ahead
I love to make lists and organize things so the week before I make my move from home back to uni is one of my favourite times. Today I have been packing even though I don’t go back until Saturday, I’ve been making lists of things I shouldn’t forget and best of all I’ve been writing a shopping list and planning my meals.

I had the worst nights sleep ever. I was awake to hear my mum’s alarm go off at half six then I finally fell asleep until now: HALF PAST TWO! I have completely wasted my day, now I will have to read all night.
This weekend has been wonderful. Friday night Lynn came over and me, mum and her had a curry and some wine and watched telly. Baking
Today I have decided to try my hand at bread rolls. After a (sort of) disaster free cheesecake making experience I was feeling confident enough to use the oven. At the moment the bread rolls are in the airing cupboard, I am waiting until they have doubled in size and then I will glaze them with a mixture of egg and milk and top them with rock salt and mixed herbs. Yummy.

Loved it. It was amazing. I haven’t read Wuthering Heights for ages so I can’t say whether I find it better or worse than that but in a week or less I should have an opinion.
The ending threw me and I still have no idea whether it actually is too abrupt or whether I just think it is because most 19th century novel endings seem to go on forever.
This was definitely a good dissertation...
Did we really need more snow?
The answer is no, but we have about four ft of it outside anyway and more is falling.
I will never be able to go for a walk at this rate. It is very pretty though.
