Great Expectations has only been on for five minutes and I’m already blubbing. Dirty children handing out pork pie to strangers really gets me.

Ahhh Boxing Day, it always consists of watching telly and writing millions of lists about how I’m going to be completely different (and better) next year.

I’m off to the local W.I meeting this evening. I am terrified. I am not used to going to places alone and meeting new people. What if they don’t like me? What if they laugh at me? Why am I going?!
